Welcome to Mont Fire and Braai! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all visitors of www.montfireandbraai.co.za (the “Site”) and to all customers making use of our products and services. This includes the sale, servicing, installation, and chimney sweeping of closed fireplaces, braais, chimney systems, and pizza ovens. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to the Terms below.

2. What We Offer
We specialise in the supply and servicing of:
- Closed combustion fireplaces
- Braais and firepits
- Pizza ovens (residential and commercial-grade)
- Chimney sweeping and flue cleaning
- Accessories including chimneys, cowls, and fire-starters.
We also provide:
- Servicing and maintenance of fireplaces and pizza ovens
- Professional installation services (available in and around Montagu, McGregor, Worcester, and Robertson)

All prices are available on request and may vary depending on product specifications or installation needs.
3. Ordering & Payment
Orders can be placed via the Site or by contacting us directly.
- All prices are provided on request and quoted in South African Rand (ZAR)
- A deposit may be required for custom, high-value, or large orders
- Full payment is required before any order is shipped or service is scheduled
Accepted payment methods include:
- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- Secure online payments (where available)
4. Installation, Servicing & Chimney Sweeping
Fireplace & Braai Servicing:
- Inspection and cleaning of fireboxes, seals, internal parts, and ash removal.
Chimney Sweeping:
- Professional chimney and flue sweeping to remove creosote buildup and ensure safety. Recommended annually.
Pizza Oven Servicing:
- Inspection and cleaning of pizza ovens, including insulation checks and soot removal.
Installation Services:
- Available in and around: Montagu, McGregor, Worcester, Robertson.
Installation is coordinated through trusted technicians and performed in line with South African safety standards. A site inspection may be required before quoting.
5. Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 7 days if:
- The item is unused and in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is available
- The product was not installed, custom-ordered, or used.
Return shipping is at your cost unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Used or installed products cannot be returned unless found defective under warranty.
6. Privacy Policy
We collect and handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, only for the purpose of fulfilling orders, scheduling services, or responding to enquiries.

7. Intellectual Property

11. Warranties
Warranties for braais, fireplaces, and flues are issued by the suppliers of the respective brands and can range from 1 to 10 years. It is important to understand that these warranties are limited in scope. Paintwork, glass windows, and fire rope are generally not covered by the warranty. Internal components such as grids and ashtrays may be excluded or only covered for a shorter period than the main unit, depending on the brand.
Please note:
- The lifespan of your fireplace, braai, and flues depends heavily on how they are used.
- Over-firing (creating fires that are excessively hot) and using wet wood (which increases rust potential) will reduce product lifespan and may completely void your warranty under extreme conditions.
- Stainless steel flues and braais are not completely resistant to corrosion.
In some cases, corrosion may appear within 12 months.
Regular cleaning with warm water is essential to reduce this risk.
